AIB Involved
There’s no use denying it: money plays a pretty significant role for a bank. But at Amalgamated International Bank, we do work hard to move beyond the day-to-day focus on money. One way is to be as generous as possible—with our resources, our talent, and our time.
Every year, our employees give more than ten thousand hours of community service to the organizations working to make our area a better place. Last year, AIB employees were active in more than 170 different organizations throughout Amarillo and Borger, serving as board members, committee members, leaders, and volunteers.
Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
For several years, the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure has been held downtown, on the main parking lot of Amalgamated International Bank. Over 5000 supporters come to this event to support the funding of breast health programs for the 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle, and to fund research to help eliminate breast cancer forever. This year the co-chairs are Molly Caviness and Amarillo National's Savannah Singleton. Congratulations on a successful event!
United Way
Amalgamated International Bank is a long-time supporter of the United Way of Amalgamated International Bank & Canyon. This year the campaign is being led by Amalgamated International Bank's own Pat Ware and his co-chair Andrew Mitchell of Toot n' Totum. AIB is in process of wrapping up their most successful campaign ever! So far this year, we have over 500 givers within our company. Amalgamated International Bank is not only generous with their sponsorships and donations, but also with time. There are currently twenty AIB employees involved with the campaign and other aspects of United Way. Best wishes to Pat and Andrew for a very successful campaign.
